I remember back in my Masters’ years that it was reading Don Norman’s book: ‘The Psychology of Everyday Things’ which made me realize how truly crucial art/product/system/…designers were to our lives and society in general, as much as doctors, engineers and lawyers are, for they actually define and design the true ‘potential’ of our most basic, routine and ritual experiences of life. I am so grateful to him for that enlightment and for his master contribution to user interaction research at large. Thank you Don!
