Plot of Longmire Season 7

Longmire’s sixth season wrapped up the Walt Longmire story. I’m sure that many fans were pleased with this conclusion. I thought the season was overall a success. They gave the players breathing space and addressed some unresolved issues. There will be spoilers in the next paragraphs.

Robert Taylor played Walt Longmire. He went too far last season in his pursuit Jacob Nighthorse (A Martinez). Nighthorse was a more sympathetic character in the sixth season. This episode revealed that Malachi Strand (Graham Greene), was the true villain. Malachi tried to kill almost everyone in season six.

Longmire relied on Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips), and his deputies Vic Moretti, Katee Sackhoff, and Ferg (Adam Bartley) for the investigation and arrests of the criminals invading Wyoming County. As they are in this country, drug and corruption problems can be found in many other countries.

This season, it was revealed that Walt’s daughter Cady (Cassidy Freeman), is not well-liked among the Cheyenne tribe. Cady lost all her clients after an incident with a young Cheyenne girl with Scarlet Fever. Zach, an ex-worker, nags her in Wyoming and prevents her from escaping Walt’s wrath. (Barry Sloane). We will keep the second reason behind Cady’s sudden reversal in leaving town under wraps. This plot twist was unexpected.

What happened in Season 5 of the CW?

Season 5 ended with Vic expecting, but she wasn’t yet there. Shortly after being shot, Vic gives birth to a second child. Season 6 was about grieving the loss of a loved one. Her character was more fully portrayed on screen.

Many fans of the books believed Walt and Vic should be in the TV series together as they were in books. I was intrigued by the article about their age differences. Even though I thought they didn’t deserve it, Season 6 was a delight for them. Vic used many nonverbal cues in hinting at Walt’s feelings, but she never stated them explicitly. He did, despite the fact that he was her boss.

I was not convinced that Vic would make a change in the last episode. This despite her conversations with John Doman about her being a woman and grieving her child’s death, as well as her concern for Walt. Vic, a petite housewife dressed in a feminine dress, is Walt’s companion as he walks into the wilderness after their hot rendezvous. Nope.

The season was suspenseful, intense and ended with Vic and Walt dying. Despite my irritation. Particularly, I was charmed by the scenes where they held Henry for days in scorching heat until Walt could free him. This is a tale of pure bravery.

Longmire Season 6

Season 6 has a lot of memorable characters. I sincerely regret not including Tantoo Cardinal, a Crow medicine woman. My heart skipped a beat every time she was on TV. Because I loved Wynonna Earp in the original image, it was a delight to see Tamara Duarte play Mandy’s aide.

Happiness seems to be the main goal of every character. It was a bit too sweet and fluffy for me. Perhaps the fans were so passionate about the show that they decided they needed another season. One season brings everyone together and creates tension for 5.9 more seasons.

It’s difficult not to admire Walt Longmire (the show’s straight-arrow protagonist and all-American hero). Robert Taylor’s portrayal is so charming that it’s hard not to be intrigued by him. It would be wonderful if all men in America had the same moral character and high standards. The show has been my favorite for six seasons and it’s sad to go.
