WHEN DOES THE NBA SEASON START?

The regular season will end on April 10, 2022. The play-in tournament will take place on April 12 and April 15, respectively, for the seventh and eighth seed in the Western Conferences and Eastern Conferences.

The NBA playoffs will begin on April 16th and end no later than June 19th, the earliest date for Game 7 in the NBA Championship.
The NBA Draft will be held on June 23. The All-Star break is scheduled for February 18-20, 2019.
A squad would play between October and April 7-16 games per month, for a total period of seven months. This could be considered six months, as the season lasts from mid-late Oct to the start of April.
HOW LONG IS THE 2022-23 NBA SESSION?
After the interruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the 2022-23 NBA season will resume its 82-game schedule. The previous two seasons had 72 regular season games.
The game tournament will determine the last two playoff spots for each league. The finals will be played in the best-of-seven format.
THE 2021-22 NBA SESSION CONSISTS OF 82 GAMES
The NBA has generally followed a 82-game schedule over its entire history. For the first ten seasons of the NBA, there were only 8 to 17 teams. However, the league adopted a large number of games that ranged between 60 and 72.
The inaugural 80-game league season was held in 1962 with only nine teams. This means that each team would have to face another eight to ten times in the course of the season.
Today’s NBA players complain that the league is too lengthy. Some even use load management. However, the number of games played has not changed. The 82-game series is not the reason why players are getting injured. It’s because they have been playing for years without any rest.
After years of playing AAU and college basketball, professional players cannot afford to miss a day.
WHERE DO PLAYOFFS END AND BEGIN?
The NBA playoffs are an exciting time in basketball. Many basketball fans will turn their attention to the playoffs and skip the regular season.
The playoffs begin in mid-April, and run until early June. The NBA has a fairly consistent schedule year after year, as long as there aren’t any delays like a pandemic.
WHAT TEAMS PLAY ON OPENING NIGHT?
Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks are the defending champions and will face off against the Brooklyn Nets at 7:30 p.m. on Opening Night. ET to replay last season’s Eastern Semifinals. At 10 p.m., the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Golden State Warriors. ET. TNT.
At 7:30 p.m., the Boston Celtics will take on the New York Knicks. ET on October 20th, while the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns will be contested at 10 p.m. ET. ET. ESPN will air both games.

WHAT IS THE NBA 2021 CHRISTMAS SCHEDULE FOR?
Los Angeles Lakers take on the Brooklyn Nets in the opening of five NBA Christmas Day games. LeBron James and Russell Westbrook will be there, as well as Anthony Davis and LeBron James. The game starts at 8 p.m. at Staples Center. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant will be facing off at Staples Center.
At 10:30 p.m., the Dallas Mavericks will take on Utah Jazz. ET on ESPN, after the Lakers-Nets matchup. Luka Doncic will face off against Rudy Gobert or Donovan Mitchell.

WHAT’S THE BEST START FOR A NBA SEASON?
Los Angeles Lakers
Jerry West, the head coach of Los Angeles Lakers, won 33 consecutive games for them to start the 1971/72 season. Over the course of the 82-game season, the club won 69 and lost 13.
This was the league’s best record. Elgin Baylor and Wilt Chamberlain were also part of the team.
The NBA record for the most wins in a single season has been broken twice since then. The first was by the Chicago Bulls in 1995/96 when they lost ten games and won 72.
Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Kevin Durant from the Golden State Warriors set a new record for 2015-16 with 73 wins and nine losses.
